It is March 20, 2020
I am in my small apartment - BORED!!! It is raining. I can't really go out.
The world has shut down because of the COVID-19 (otherwise known as the Coronavirus) virus. We have been told (repeatedly) to wash our hands, cover our sneezes and coughs, be socially separated.
So, since I write (way-too-much), and since I am missing my friends at the Georgetown Stone Haven Thursday Bridge Group, I'm going to create KarensBridgeBlog.
Of course, I will "steal" (oops - gently borrow) material from other places - and try to get an appropriate reference. Some may be made up, some may be real. I'll use some humor. At this, my first post, I don't really know where I am going!!!
Let's get some humor to start.
Yes, there are times (like I've been at the same table all morning - and haven't gotten the bid) that I MUST have the bid. I hate to pass - I hate to pass always and never once get a bid
